This weekend marks the second run of the Confetti Weekends held at Lakeside Joondalup. One of our favourite activations by far as we got to run with the hotel theme we’ve always wanted to do, alongside some major brands we genuinely love and respect.
The activation was a late shoo in as we prepared and launched it by a hair’s breadth and it was all go once we established how we wanted to portray our brand at this special event. We were very lucky to get it all in place with the help of the amazing event organisers at Studio Below to which we are super thankful for.
People that attend the event get to drop their sneakers off to be pampered (cleaned and spritzed a coating of our Impervious spray) at the Aether hotel and while doing so receive a pair of limited edition slippers to wear and keep to peruse the rest of the event with.
After a 15 minute pamper, customers bring the Aether hotel key tag back to receive their sneakers back fresh and clean.
In the first week of activation, we connected with people that loved their sneakers but weren't aware of the options you had for the upkeep side of collecting sneakers. For us to have quality conversations with the casual sneaker head makes these weekends very worthwhile.
Being a part of an activation alongside the likes of Stateside Sports, Doc Martin, San Churros and 1Off store makes us really proud to be a part of what Confetti Weekends has to offer and with the current success of the hotel theme, be sure to watch this space as we expand on it and cater for more in the same vein.
Confetti Weekends runs for another day (today the 18th Sep) and tomorrow for its final day at Lakeside Joondalup. Definitely worth a visit.
